An entertaining approach to geology

Learning about the unique geological formation of Charlevoix has never been more fun than it is with these two friendly characters, Edgar and Laura, brought to life by author Nadia Murray, who teaches literature at the Centre d’études collégial en Charlevoix, and illustrated by Karine Deschênes. The series of children’s books (also enjoyed by older kids) stems from a combination of ideas and talents brought about by the Géoparc de Charlevoix. What is a percussion cone? That’s the kind of thing that young readers learned about and explored while taking part in fun activities at the book launch this past fall.
