This is the chain’s only boutique to offer everything under one roof: women’s fashion, all the best brands, latest styles and pieces sure to please all generations. The service is professional and friendly, with knowledgeable staff skilled at offering advice on accessorizing and the latest trends. From floor to fitting room—the fitting rooms are covered in a charming monkey-patterned wallpaper—the entire experience at Lemercier is top tier. The shop’s décor has undergone its own renewal recently, just in time for its 50th anniversary, and as with everything that Marie-France does, the renovations are definitely in good taste.

After all, she not only learned the trade from the best, but she also shares their genes; she proudly took over the family business, which was founded in 1972 by her father Jean-Paul Perron, a natural-born entrepreneur. And the happiness is evident on Jean-Paul’s face every time he drops by—which is often—keeping a benevolent eye on the business he initially baptized «Au Carrefour de l’habit.» Looks like business (and fashion!) runs in the family!
