Renewal on the horizon

Momentum, zeitgeist, timing, surge…
No matter what you choose to call it, a breath of fresh air is blowing over Charlevoix right now. The spirit of the times, infused with the salt marshes of low tide, the smell of the conifers gracing our boreal peaks, the petrichor of a spring rainfall.

Spring editorial

A wind charged with the uniqueness of Charlevoix, which has its roots in the past, in the rich history of the region and rushes with vigour towards a sunny, human, authentic and bright future.
Things are lively, changing, brimming with life, like the spring sap that rises and awakens the buds. Our great story is written in the present, here and now, imbued with the land, neighbourhood life, arts and crafts, hikes along trails, the echo of orchestras as much as brass bands at festivals.
This wind of change is positive, aware, open, social and in full swing from Petite-Rivière-Saint-François to Baie-Sainte-Catherine. Projects are hatching, ideas are being renewed, institutions are saluting bygone years by looking to the future.

In our pages, we celebrate this spring that is taking over Charlevoix. Like a breath of fresh air. Like renewal.

Renewal for Hotel Casino de Charlevoix, Fairmont le Manoir Richelieu, which celebrates 125 years of history under a young administration, driven by the desire to entertain and evolve with the times…
Renewal for Le Festif de Baie-Saint-Paul which, at 15 years old, has never been so cool. Renewal for a revitalized Museum where you can climb and play, for the lively area of Pointe-au-Pic, which we’ve dedicated an entire booklet to, for the unique concept of L’île Mystérieuse, for Domaine Forget under an inspired artistic direction, for the artist Josiane Lanthier who has the wind in her sails and for a multitude of beloved attractions that are renewed on a daily basis here on the Charlevoix territory.

And the story continues...
It is alive.
It is yet to be written.
